I think it was one of the most unusual and interesting pieces I have seen in that genre. It was so unusual and interesting, one could almost not stop staring at it. I am glad I went.
Hello everyone. I thought this might be of interest to everyone. I took the photograph sometime last year, I think almost a year ago in Richmond Virginia, while hiking along the James River with a good friend. I remember watching this person kayak the river. He never let up for one second, no matter what happened.

Another popular area my friend and I visit is Ashland, Virginia. Their town motto is “The Center of The Universe”. A train literally runs through the center of town. It was pretty incredible to watch the train roll through.
My friend and I visited it last year and had a wonderful time. We ate lunch at that drug store (third image down from the top). LOL!! It was like walking into history! It was like an old “Mom and Pop Shop” from the 1950’s.
“A moment in time, engraved into one chapter during the summer of 2016. A father and son enjoying life one frame at a time. A beautiful, peaceful point in time, disengaging from life’s rush hour.”
My friend and I visited a very beautiful site in Richmond Virginia, during the summer of 2016. While there were many images taken, I chose this one as a reminder of family life and moments with a good friend. We were talking the night before I posted this image and we reminisced about all the many adventures we had taken from Pittsburgh, PA to Richmond VA. We know each other for ten years. We are grateful for the friendship we have.

With summer in full swing, there are many excellent sites to see throughout the USA.
Richmond Virginia is one of them. Since 2008, I have had the good pleasure of visiting Virginia from Richmond to Leesburg and have enjoyed many wonderful sites of the State. my friend Katie and I have seen many historical sites in various places of the state (Monticello, James Madison Plantation, Edgar Allan Poe Museum, Chatam House, James River Canal Rides, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, The Virginia Historical Society to name but a few), Sports (The Richmond Flying Squirrels – The team is a part of the Eastern League, is the Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giantsmajor league club, and plays at The Diamond.), Virginia Beach (beautiful sand, excellent swimming conditions in the Atlantic Ocean), The Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden (a beautiful site to see with its fantastic gardens located throughout the grounds and its greenhouse).
Richmond has developed itself again into an beautiful area. Over the last few years, it has undergone a major citywide beautification project to bring more tourism, enhancing itself city wide. it also held a major world wide bicycle competition in 2016. Whether its the arts and entertainment, a walk through the city, visiting the parks, music and the arts or sports, there is always something to see and do.
In late July, I will again visit one of my favorite places on Earth and enjoy my time with my good friend Katie.
