This youtube clip, gives a short history on Deno’s Wonder Wheel in beautiful Coney Island Amusement Park in Brooklyn, NY.
Located at Coney Island Amusement Park in Brooklyn NY, that area has a lot to offer. Aside from the LandMark Amusement Park, it is next door to MCU Park, Home of The Brooklyn Cyclones and has beautiful beaches as well. There is also Nathans famous hotdogs right down the block.|
This video about the Wonder Wheel enhances the heritage and culture of that area and is filled with large amounts of history, regarding that area.
Enjoy the video!

This is from the youtube section Deno’s has, on the particular video #10:
Charles Denson, director of the Coney Island History Project, talks about the Wonder Wheel, Coney Island, and the inventions of Leonardo da Vinci. While writing his book on the history of the Wonder Wheel, he came across some amazing connections between Da Vinci and Coney Island. Denson says that many of Da Vinci’s 15th century mechanical drawings resemble rides in Coney Island, but there’s one machine that he invented that stands out among the others: Da Vinci’s design for a Perpetual Motion Machine.

A little blurb about the park:
“Deno’s Wonder Wheel Amusement Park is a family-owned amusement park located at Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York City. It features five adult rides and 16 kiddie rides, including a dozen family rides that parents and children can ride together.”

Did you know? Who is the Coney Island face?

The grinning clown face featured on the shirt is known as “Tillie”: The name Tillie is a nod to George C. Tilyou, the owner of Steeplechase Park in Coney Island, NY

Ocean City, New Jersey

These images are from an Ocean City, NJ trip I took with a friend. It was an excellent way to spend a summers day.

With beautiful beaches, amusement rides, the boardwalk and many eatery’s it is really tough not to have a good time. There is so much to do on the famous Jersey shore that one can spend many days exploring what it has to offer.

I am grateful to have been part of something very exciting!
