Wally Backman of Long Island Ducks named Atlantic League manager of year in 2019

The hits just keep on coming for the Long Island Ducks. Manger Wally Backman was named 2019 Manager of The Year in The Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
He managed the team to an 86-54 record, the Ducks won both halves of the season, swept the High Point Rockers in the Division Series and took on a mighty tough Sugar Land Skeeters in the Atlantic League Championship, in the Long Island Ducks Twentieth Season Anniversary.
Congratulations Long Island Ducks and Wally Backman on such a prestigious award.
