Opening Week for The Long Island Ducks Sweep Revolution!

The Long Island Ducks officially opened up their season this week in York Pennsylvania, winning all three games against York Revolution.
They won the first game 12-3 with many Ducks putting on a good show and some assistance by Revolution fielding errors.

Game two featured some excellent pitching by Tim Melville, tossing six innings of scoreless baseball and some hefty hitting by the Ducks, giving the Ducks a 14-0 win.

The third game, gave the Ducks a sweep over a usually tough to beat Revolution, 8-4.
Key highlights were players De Jesus Jr. and Matt den Dekker each having three hits to lead the Ducks offensively. Nieuwenhuis added two hits, two RBIs, a run and a walk.

The Ducks continue their away stand in Lancaster Pennsylvania against Lancaster Barnstormers for a three game series.

The Ducks return to Long Island at Bethpage Ballpark in Central Islip, NY on May 3, 2019 for their Home Opener against York Revolution.
